Application effect of high efficiency activated carbon purification

in Airbus Air Purifier

Application method of activated carbon

Activated carbon uses an adsorption process to remove pollutants from the air. It is almost similar to absorption, trapping the adsorbed matter in its own pores. Absorption occurs when a fluid passes through or enters a liquid or solid absorbent. At the same time, if the atoms, ions or molecules of the fluid adhere to the surface of the liquid or solid adsorbent, it is called adsorption.

What pollutants can activated carbon remove

Activated carbon is used in combination with air purifier, especially HEPA air filter. It is placed in the air purifier to capture and remove gas molecules in the air and pollutants that cannot be treated by HEPA filters such as VOC. Such as tobacco smoke, volatile organic compounds (VOC), formaldehyde, benzene, naphthalene, chloroform and toluene.

Measuring the performance of activated carbon in air purifier

Smoke and volatile organic compounds are the smallest and most dangerous particles. They easily enter the blood through the lungs and are harmful to health when inhaled. This is why it is important to install an activated carbon filter in the air purifier. However, when removing these particles, not all air purifiers with activated carbon filters have the same efficiency level.

Airbus air purifier, whether household air purifier or air purifier used in other places, such as office, hotel, yoga studio and car purifier, uses the above activated carbon high-efficiency filter to achieve the best purification effect of air purifier, which is loved and recommended by more customers and friends.
