AIRBUS bring you to know about the air purifiers from fans, filters and housing

For air purifiers, the essence is to use a high-speed rotating fan, the polluted air into the intake, and then make it fully in the machine and high-efficiency filter material contact, complete purification and then clean air released from the outlet. Although this may seem simple, the fan, filter screen and housing all greatly affect the overall performance of the air purifier. For example, the fan of the air purifier determines the purification speed and noise level, the filter determines the purification effect and service life, and the shell determines the aesthetic degree and interactive experience.

1, fan

Let's start with the fan. Air flow needs power, and the power of the air purifier comes from the fan. Assuming the house is 110 square meters and 2.8 meters high, that's 308 cubic meters of air to clean. If you don't have a big enough fan, fresh, polluted air will pour in before the 308 cubic meters of air are cleared. Therefore, there are relevant regulations for the air volume of the air purifier, which requires that the indoor air can be filtered more than five times an hour to reach the standard. However, such a large volume of air is bound to require high-speed rotation of the fan, and noise problems are inevitable. Home air purifiers are very sensitive to noise because they are used in daily life. This puts forward a very high requirement for the process of the fan. It needs to be big enough and stable enough, and at the same time, it needs to keep quiet enough in the state of high-speed operation.

2, mesh

Next, HEPA filters, because passive air purifiers all use HEPA as the main filter material. HEPA's main materials include polypropylene, polyester resin, ultrafine glass fiber, etc., using offset paper and even aluminum alloy as fixtures. The industry generally divides HEPA filter into three grades, E, H and U. In the civil field, class H is usually adopted, and the efficiency of H13 and H14 standards on MPPS is above 99.75 and 99.975 respectively. And the higher the standard of the filter is also more expensive, usually H10 is used as the standard of the middle air purifier filter, H12 is the high-end air purifier filter standard.

3, shell

Finally, the housing of the air purifier. At present, the mainstream brands on the market use engineering plastics as the main material of the shell, and some manufacturers use the shell of all metal, so that the product looks more robust and durable. As the appearance level of an air purifier, the shell of course most directly reflects the level of industrial design. As a container to accommodate fans and filter elements, the primary function of the shell is sealing, the purpose is to avoid short circuit in the process of air flow. Secondly, the fan and filter element in the shell with what layout is also very particular. The layout needs to be both aerodynamic and unobstructed, but also extend the path of the air as much as possible to maximize the purification effect. A good shell is one that can perfect both. In addition, the shell is a stage for designers to show the humanization of their works. In addition to regulating the wind speed, switching machine such some basic control, air quality detection and filter life tips have gradually become the mainstream brand standard. With the advent of the Internet of Things era, intelligent interactive ports that can access the Internet will certainly become the trend of the future.
